HURST, Texas – A recent pep rally at L.D. Bell High School apparently offended one woman because some students showed support for Republican candidate Donald Trump, so she attempted to shame them with pictures posted online.

Former L.D. Bell student Elizabeth Ramirez allegedly attended the pep rally at the school this week to watch her brother perform, but after some students showed support for Trump she decided to vent about the experience on social media and post images of the students in an attempt to shame them, CBS DFW reports.

Ramirez posted an image of five cheerleaders at the school wearing shirts that spell out “Trump,” along with a lengthy rant.

“So today I go back to Bell for the first time in like 3 years, to go see my lil brother in the step team at the pep rally, and this is whats going on,” Ramirez posted to Facebook. “Not only this but people wearing hats and taking a huge banner (Trump 2016) and students yelling BUILD A WALL, I don’t understand how schools are allowing students to bring this/ and this behavior in schools because its politics and they have freedom of speech?”

The picture of the cheerleaders went viral after the post, and many folks have lashed out at the teens online, though Ramirez couldn’t care less.

“They should have thought about it before they did it,” Ramirez told the news site.

Ramirez wrote in her error-riddled Facebook post that she doesn’t believe students should be able to express their free speech in school.

“Everyone has their right to do what ever the hell they wanna do, like support him, but please it should be to wear its prohibited to bring this in to a school!” she wrote on Facebook.

“I’m so disappointed its not even funny, and the fact that their was many parents supporting this and taking pictures!!”

Ramirez was also offended that some students chanted “build the wall” during the event.

A mother of one of the cheerleaders who actually took the picture, Amy Normand, told CBS DFW Ramirez posted the picture out of context by insinuating it was taken during the pep rally, which it wasn’t.

“I was surprised at the backlash from it because I know the girls personally and I know they didn’t mean anything by it,” she said, adding that the girls put the shirts on after the rally concluded to take the picture.

“It’s painful, but again, she chose, they chose to put that on and it’s her responsibility to now respond well to it,” Normand said.

Online pictures showed some students wore Trump shirts at the rally, and carried a Trump banner, but Normand said the event wasn’t nearly as mean-spirited as the online comments sparked by Ramirez’s post.

A Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District spokesperson told the news site the rally was designed to boost school spirit, and was not an endorsement of any political candidates. School officials took action to stop the “build the wall” chants during the rally, the spokesperson said.
