NORTON SHORES, Mich. — There’s at least one public school that loves America.
Mona Shores High School hosted “Sailor Salute” to honor America, the military and first responders before an evening football game on Thursday.

Joining the marching band in a U-S-A formation, some 1,500 singers gathered on the field to sing “God Bless America” and the national anthem.
“Over the past few years, the Mona Shores football program has dedicated an evening to bring awareness to our military, police, fire and emergency responders as a way of giving back,” Athletic director Ryan Portenga tells WZZM.
The P.A. announcer declared “All Lives Matter.”
The event included a fly over by World War II planes:
