One student allegedly told police that he had sexual relations with Rowles at least 40 times over a six-month span, beginning in December, 2011. The boy said they would go on hikes to be alone, or to the home of the teacher’s mother when it was not occupied.

Another boy said Rowles rejected his sexual advances in the spring of 2011 before giving in. She eventually ended the relationship, the news report said.
