Or … perhaps more accurately, she’s had her way with students.

The 28-year-old middle school teacher faces 13 felony charges after an extensive investigation found she allegedly held “pizza and sex” parties at her home, where she supplied underage students with alcohol and marijuana before getting down to business, the Daily Mail reports.

“A 15-year-old boy told investigators he had sex with Appleton multiple times over a period starting in November 2011,” the newspaper reports. “The sexual contact ended in May 2012.”

Authorities believe Appleton invited students from her school to her Shelbyville home and offered them pizza, alcohol and marijuana before having sex. She taught students with mild disabilities, and loved her job at the school, which she has held since 2008, the Daily Mail reports.

“I love it here. I love what I’m doing. I have always wanted to be a teacher and am so glad that I have the opportunity to work with so many great teachers and students,” according to Appleton’s biography on the district website.

She now faces charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, child seduction, maintaining a common nuisance, and numerous counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the newspaper.

The sex scandal is the second in the school district to surface this summer.

Another Shelbyville employee, high school assistant cheerleading coach Megan Crafton, 22, was arrested in June for allegedly performing oral sex on a 17-year-old student, but has pleaded not guilty on the grounds she didn’t have authority over the student.
