LONDON – Would you eat rectangle pizza, cold french fries and chicken nuggets for $88 per person?

Or worse, some of the fare from Michelle Obama’s menu?

After School Club, a London restaurant, is hoping enough people will want to relive some school memories with “5 courses of posh school dinners with theatre, music, homework and milk monitors!” according to its website.

The Dalstonist reports the “Art of Dining” collective will transform into a school setting.

According to the news site:

Set designer Alice Hodge has been employed to turn Clapton’s Round Hall into a school-themed restaurant complete with black boards, chalk and teachers.

You, too, can eat fare such as this for just $88 a person.

Upon entry, you’ll be shown to your seat and chef Ellen Parr will serve up five courses of ‘posh school dinners’ inspired by childhood favourites such as alphabet spaghetti and fish fingers.

But the experience won’t be cheap. Tickets are available on the restaurant’s website for £55 — or about 88 American dollars.

“Pack your books, press your uniform and head over to the Clapton Park Round Chapel. Hope you have done your homework,” the restaurant’s website says.

According to the Telegraph, “strict teachers” will be prowling the aisle during an interactive art class and good behavior will be “compulsory.”

The After School Club is considered a “pop-up” restaurant, given its two-week run time. It will only be open July 22 through August 6.

Londoners apparently are growing tired of such restaurants and the Telegraph speculates this idea “might be the final straw.”
