MADISON, Wis. –Democratic attorney general candidate Susan Happ has made protecting Wisconsin’s children a key part of her campaign theme.

Outgoing Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has used his office to wage war on cybercrimes involving children, and Republican attorney general candidate Brad Schimel has established a record of protecting children as Waukesha County District Attorney. But Happ’s own record on protecting children, especially when she worked as a defense attorney, is far from consistent with her campaign rhetoric.
