“Why pimp out old hoes when I have fresh young hoes I can give up for money?” De Armas, a student at Sarasota High School, allegedly wrote in a Facebook message. “As long as I’m getting paid I’m trafficking all these (expletive).”

The high school prostitution ring, which involved students from Sarasota, Venice and Riverview high schools, was exposed when John Michael Mosher, 21, allegedly agreed to pay $40 and a bottle of liquor to have sex with a 15-year-old female student, the Sarasota Herald Tribune reports.

Four students told Venice High School resource officers about the prostitution ring in October, and they focused their attention on Mosher, who was arrested Friday and charged with a felony for sexual battery, according to the news site.

Police told the Herald Tribune a third person involved in the case is expected to be arrested today.

De Armas allegedly arranged the sex deal for Mosher that took place in a pool shed at a local park in August. The victim alleges “she told Mosher she did not want to have sexual intercourse with him to which he disregarded and forcefully held her against the wall of the pool shed building, restricting her movement and ability to flee,” according to a police report cited by the Tribune.

De Armas and a male Venice High student allegedly concocted the prostitution plan over the summer as a means of raising money to buy drugs and acquiring alcohol.

“Students told officers that De Armas coordinated at least three prostitution deals – including the one with the 15–year-old – by using Facebook private messaging,” the news site reports.

Those students allege De Armas attempted to recruit them as prostitutes.

Police searched De Armas’ Facebook account and found discussions about the business deals and prices for services, which ranged from $50 to $70 for oral sex to $100 for intercourse with a virgin. Police declined to give further details on the case.

Mosher, a dishwasher at a local restaurant, is being held in Sarasota County Jail without bail.

Police told the media none of the alleged incidents occurred on school grounds.

School officials wouldn’t discuss the ongoing case with the media.
