OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City high school basketball coach was arrested Monday after a student at his school told police that he had been touching her in an inappropriate matter for more than two years.

Aaron Howell, 38, who coaches at Moore High School, is accused of touching the female student, who is younger than 16, in the kitchen and living room of a private residence, according to a report from NewsOk.com.

A former high school music teacher and band director has admitted touching a 15-year-old student in a sexual manner and sending her text messages with sexual content, according to a report in NJ.com.

David Scheck, 31, a former teacher at West Morris Central High School in Morristown, New Jersey pleaded guilty to the charges of official misconduct and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He accepted a plea agreement during jury selection for his trial, according to the news report.

The case dates back to 2007, when the victim claims Scheck touched her in a sexual manner in her home and in the band room at the school.

Scheck will received a five year prison sentence but will be eligible for parole in two years. He will be forced to forfeit his teacher license and won’t be allowed to have a job in the public sector again, the news report said.
