JENISON, Mich. – I think that students should recite the Pledge of Allegiance every day in school because it doesn’t take very long. I know that because our class takes 17 seconds to say it. I think that we should because a lot of soldiers and U.S. Marines died in the war and a lot of people protected our nation. Many soldiers made sure that we could be free from Adolf Hitler in WWII.
I appreciate that we can say the Pledge of Allegiance every day at school and hopefully forever. I’m thankful for all our loved people who died in the wars.
