HOUSTON – A high school counselor has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a student.

Ellen Wermeling, 32, a counselor at Aldine MacArthur High School, posted a $10,000 bond after being charged with “improper relationship between educator and student,” according to a report from the Daily Mail.

A male student at the high school, in his senior year, told police that he messaged Wermeling via Instagram on Feb. 28, and she picked him up and brought him back to her residence. He claimed they watched a movie then engaged in sexual intercourse, the news report said.

The boy also claimed they had sex again on March 8 and March 10.

Wermeling told police she never had sex with the student, never brought him to her home, and never communicated with him by Instragram. Investigators later learned her Instagram account was closed March 25, the day she was contacted by police regarding the allegations.

The counselor has been suspended from her job, according to the report.

Gym teacher accused of viewing 15-year-old’s breasts

A physical education teacher at Dallas’ Skyline High School has been accused of asking a girl to remove her top and display her breasts to him.

Anthony Holmes, 44, allegedly had the 15-year-old student go to a corner of the gym, behind a door, and lift up her top. He then allegedly asked her to stay after school, inquired about whether she drank alcohol, and suggested they stay together in a hotel one night, according to a report from NBC.
