WASHINGTON, D.C. – Socialist Bernie Sanders may do the unthinkable and beat Hillary Clinton.

Based on an informal poll of union members, as well as other media reports, presidential hopeful and self-declared socialist Senator Bernie Sanders [D-Vermont] may be more of a serious primary challenge to the presumed Democrat Party’s nominee, Hillary Clinton, than anyone in the DNC wants to admit.

Not surprisingly, Sanders enjoys a lot of support from labor unions.

Though he has had donors from other sectors, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, all of Bernie Sanders top donors over his career are union political action committees (PACs).

Not surprsingly, the same could not be said for Hillary Clinton, who claims she wants to be America’s “champion.”

If union members turn out to vote in the Democratic primaries, Bernie Sanders—and not Hillary Clinton—may very well be the Democrats’ next nominee.
