LOS ANGELES – Teacher Michelle Yeh allegedly wooed one of her male students with a trip to Disneyland to get in his pants.

Police contend she bought others gifts and set up sexual rendezvous at a hotel, KTLA 5 reports.

The 28-year-old “permanent substitute” at San Pedro High School is now charged with a slew of sex crimes against her students – from unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16 to lewd acts on a 15-year-old child.

Yeh was arrested July 17 after one of her alleged victims told police she sexually abused him multiple times, and an investigation into students whom she tutored online led to other victims, according to the news site.

“Yeh was charged today … with four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16, two counts of oral copulation of a minor under 16, (and) two counts of lewd act on a child 15 years of age, all felonies involving two male victims,” according to an Aug. 11 statement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

“In addition, she is charged with three misdemeanor counts of child molesting or sexual annoyance involving two additional male victims,” the statement read.

The New York Daily News reports “the former teacher took one boy on the Disneyland trip, met another at a hotel and bought several boys gifts in order to pursue relationships with them, prosecutors said.”

Yeh worked as a science teacher last school year, but once school let out for summer, she began contacting a 15-year-old student for a private meeting, which evidently evolved into more.

The student reported Yeh to police last month, the Los Angeles Times reports.

She faces up to nine years and eight months in the state penitentiary, if convicted.

Commenters online had mixed reactions to the case.

“B.S. article. Probably a horny 15 year old turned on by his teacher who was willing to oblige. People and the media are so quick to criminalize this behavior. You people are so wrong,” White Lotus posted to the Los Angeles Times.

Others quickly pointed out the flawed logic in White Lotus’ comments.

“She had ONE THING to never, ever do as a teacher, and, lacking self-control and empathy, she failed at it. Not once, but numerous times,” tdawg1961 wrote. “The woman is obviously mentally ill to risk everything to satisfy her compulsion to have sex with a minor. This is sociopathic behavior. Don’t you think that meets the criteria of being a sex offender?

“She needs to be institutionalized, at least at a psychiatric unit. To not do so would leave her free to prey on more (younger?) victims, as well as send a horrific message to other predators.”

Poster La Clock believes students involved in sexual relationships should bear some responsibility.

“We’ve put kids as young as 11 on trial as adults, claiming that they were old enough to know what they were doing. How is it that these boys didn’t know what they were doing? Did she overpower them physically? Did she trick them with her evil feminine wiles?” La Clock questioned.

“Are their brains so tiny and their knowledge of the law so abysmal that they didn’t realize that having sex with teacher is illegal? Or did they, having seen the news about other such cases, figure that they could do whatever they liked, as long as they cried victim if it got out of hand.”

Commenter tdawg1961 attempted to set La Clock straight.

“Wow, people like you who make these types of comments are really missing the point. The woman was in a position of responsibility and trust. She betrayed every responsible teacher out there, as well as the child and his parents,” tdawg1961 posted. “These kids were manipulated. She is a predator. Her next victims may very well have been small children. She obviously has no sense of boundaries or any self control.”
