NEW BERLIN, Wis. – A former Wisconsin high school teacher had sex with her 16-year-old student about a dozen times as she planned her wedding, including the night of her now husband’s bachelor party, police allege.

New Berlin West High School English teacher Sara Domres, 28, was fired in January, shortly before police launched an investigation to allegations she had sex with a student multiple times over a 10 month period, WISN reports.

The victim told police he had sex with his teacher between 10 and 15 times at a Park and Ride in New Berlin, and at a Motel 6 on the night of her husband’s bachelor party. Court records show the two met when the teen was a student in Domres’ English class during the 2014-15 school year, and exchanged more than 1,000 text messages since, according to the Associated Press.

“Please be mine forever & ever. Always your baby girl,” one text read. “P.S. Good luck on your quiz ;)”

The teacher liked to call the teen “Baby Boo” and other pet names in her texts, police allege.

The two first had sex in the back seat of Domres’ car in July 2015, when the boy was 16 years old. The hotel sex came in October, after the victim’s 17th birthday.

Domres attempted to cover her tracks with the relationship by paying cash for the $56.54 hotel stay, but detectives were able to determine the victim connected to the hotel’s wifi, WISN reports.

The former teacher and New Berlin West Dance Coach also allegedly asked her victim if she should marry her now husband, and the two were actually busted by Domres’ fiancée while doing the deed in a bar parking lot, CBS 58 reports.

“On one occasion they were having sexual intercourse in the parking lot of New Berlin Ale House, and her new husband found them. There was a verbal confrontation,” according to the news site. “He, also, told police he left school during flex period to have sexual intercourse.”

New Berlin School District Superintendent Joe Garza issued a statement calling the teacher’s alleged conduct “troubling, disappointing and incomprehensible.”

“Ensuring our schools are the save and secure learning environments our families and communities expect is one of chief goals and top priorities,” he said.

Domres, who received her teaching certificate in early 2011, pleaded not guilty to two Class H felonies for sexual assault of a student

She faces up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine for each count.

“She needs psychological counseling!” Edward Gonzalez posted to the CBS 58 comments.

“No, she committed a crime and should go to jail,” Charlotte Mayfield countered.

“She is a criminal and as such needs jail time,” Donald Catenacci agreed. “If it was a male teacher and a female student no one would be calling for counseling.”
