Diebolt allegedly conducted a sexual relationship with a female student under the age of 18 from 2004 to 2008. The alleged victim reported the incidents to police earlier this month, claiming she and Diebolt initiated physically intimate relations when the Valencia High School student was 15 and a student of the language arts instructor. Diebolt also was the school’s swim and water polo coach.

According to CBS: “Placentia detectives on Wednesday arrested Rebecca Eileen Diebolt for allegedly copulating a person under the age of 18 while working as a teacher at Valencia High School in Placentia.

“Diebolt, a 35-year-old Brea resident, was also accused of sexual penetration with a person under the age of 18.”

According to CBS: “The alleged victim told police her relationship with Diebolt started casually and soon become sexual. She also told authorities that sexual encounters took place in Diebolt’s classroom as well as her home, both after school and on weekends.

“Officials said the sexual relationship continued after the alleged victim graduated and began attending college.”

Diebolt was arrested in a Brea parking lot, and arraigned at Orange County Jail. Her bail is set at $100,000.
