Students from across House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s district plan to skip school on Friday to protest for the Green New Deal at her downtown San Francisco office.

The student “strike” is also expected to target U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein and culminate with a rally at Union Square, where speakers will demand the lawmakers move on the radical climate resolution introduced by freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, CBS San Francisco reports.

“Scientists have repeatedly told us we need to act on it,” San Francisco 15-year-old Hannah Estrada told the news site as she made posters Sunday to prepare for the protest. “No one seems to want to fight for my future. If no one wants to fight for me, I’m going to have to fight for myself.”

Estrada’s anxiety stems from the alarmist propaganda promoted by the Youth Climate Strike, which is organizing students to walk out of class Friday in schools across the world in the name of stopping climate change.

In San Francisco, students will demand Pelosi and Feinstein sign on to the Green New Deal, which is based on the notion that the world is teetering on ecological disaster with just over a decade remaining to fix the situation.

“We, the youth of America, are striking because decades of inaction has left us with just 11 years to change the trajectory of the worst effects of climate change, according to the October 2018 UN (International Panel on Climate Change) Report,” according to the Youth Climate Strike website.

The site explains the intent is to disrupt the social order so “the system is forced to face the climate crisis and enact change.”

“Without futures at stake, we call for radical legislative action to combat climate change and its countless detrimental effects on the American people. We are striking for the Green New Deal, for a fair and just transition to a 100% renewable economy, and for ending the creation of additional fossil fuel infrastructure. Additionally, we believe the climate crisis should be declared a national emergency because we are running out of time.”

The Youth Climate Strike also lists “our demands” – essentially the highlights of the Green New Deal – including “100% renewable energy by 2030,” “no creation of additional fossil fuel infrastructure,” “compulsory comprehensive education on climate change and its impacts,” and the creation of a new committee to “oversee the implementation of a Green New Deal.”

An outline produced by Ocasio-Cortez showed the Green New Deal also calls for an eventual end to air travel and gas cars, renovating every building in America to maximize energy efficiency, free government money for people who won’t work, free college, free healthcare and other fantasies.

The planned student strike on Friday is only the latest example of climate change activists using students to promote the socialist policies in the GND. Ocasio-Cortez dropped in on a student protest at Pelosi’s Washington, D.C. office in January organized by the “Sunrise Movement,” the same group that ambushed Feinstein at her San Francisco office with a group of middle and high school students in late February.

Both Pelosi and Feinstein have pushed back on the radical and divisive socialism in the GND.

“You come in here, and you say it has to be my way or the highway,” Feinstein chided the Sunrise Movement kids in a viral video of the February confrontation, according to the Sacramento Bee. “I don’t respond to that. I’ve gotten elected, I just ran, I was elected by almost a million vote plurality.”

Pelosi, likewise, thinks so little of the GND she can’t even remember what it’s called.

During a recent appearance at The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., Pelosi needed the moderator’s help to remember the name, asking “What is it?”

Pelosi previously mocked the proposal as the “Green Dream” when Ocasio-Cortez unveiled the nonbinding resolution last month, The American Mirror reports.

“It will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive,” said Pelosi, who opted not to appoint Ocasio-Cortez to the House climate change committee. “The Green Dream or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they’re for it right?”
