WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The student government of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio has scrapped a student-proposed initiative to stop Created Equal.

For years, Created Equal has brought pro-life outreach to public sidewalks and busy thoroughfares in the heart of the private university.

After various attempts at intimidation, Otterbein students took their bullying to a new level with a plan to purchase public sidewalks, thereby killing free speech. But the initiative failed.

Appearing on 10 TV News, Otterbein student senator Jude Burnside contended the signs “hindered students on their way to use facilities at the campus center, it made them feel unsafe.”

“I think it’s unfortunate this group feels they need to be so militant, particularly to young people, particularly to young women,” said Carrie Coisman, the Otterbein student body president.
